Summer Favourites

Summer is over now and the weather is getting cooler so what's a better time to show you my summer loves?! I have not discovered anything new since I was using stuff that I already had in my collection, and I thought I would share with you!

So let's have a little chat around these products. The Sleek Make Up eye shadow palette in Storm is long one of my favourite eye shadow palettes. It contains some gorgeous neutral shades and some darker bluey and golden/bronze shades that I absolutely love. It can easily replace my Urban Decay Naked 1 palette which is amazing as well but is a little pricey in comparison to this one that costs around 10 pounds and has amazing quality.

The nail polishes that I have been using are the Barry M Nail Paint in Peach Melba & Avon Nailwear Pro+ in Lemon Sugar. They are both gorgeous colours, bright and summery, with opaque appliace and nice consistency. The Avon one is a little thick but I'm not really fussy about that.
Some bright pretty shades are also the lip colours I was wearing. A sweet coral pink shade, Dior Addict lipcolour in Coral Craze, and an orange, bright gorgeous lipstick, Topshop lipstick in Infared. The Dior lipstick is quite moisturizing and last quite a while on the lips for a lipstick in the moisturizing and creamy category. The Topshop one has strong longevity but I find it a little bit drying on my lips, otherwise I love it.

                                                 Dior Addict Lipstick Swatches:

                                                Topshop Lipstick Swatches:

To make my eyes look bright and awake without too much make up I was using the Art Deco Natural Lip Corrector in 03 (the lady in the counter suggested I buy this and it's amazing) and mascara, the Essence get BIG Lashes mascara or the Clinique High Impact Curling mascara. The first mascara gives a length and volume, but it is not intense which makes it a perfect every day affordable choice (around 3 euros). The second  is much more intense, very black and quite clumpy, gives lenght and some volume, suitable for a night out.
The Clinique Moisture Surge (shade 01) tinted moisturizer with SPF 15, was also making my skin look fresh and glowy along with the Caudalie Beauty Elixir spray, which moisturizes and gives a healthy glow to my skin.

                                                Clinique Moisture Surge Swatch:

And last but not least the Escada Ocean Lounge perfume which I was spraying on all the time is a fruity sweet scent perfect for summer. Which were your summer go-to products? xxx

Lip Balm Rave: Apivita lip care

Hi guys! Today's post is about a lip balm as you can understand from the title. I discovered this lip balm randomly since it was in Cosmopolitan magazine as a gift.(Apivita is a greek brand with almost 100% natural products)
At first I didn't use it much because on the edge of it when you have just started it, it has like a rough texture some beads or like sand or something which I realised that melt and it's like scrubbing the lips. It's a really really moisturizing lip balm and when I put it on at night it's still on my lips when I wake up. So it stays like 8 hours on! WOW! It gives a sattle colour ( I have the pink so it gives a sattle pink ) and as said before really moisturising. Do you have any lip balm that you swear by? I think this is maybe the one that I do!

Ways Of Payment & Shopping Online (Part 2)

Hello everyone! This is the second part of this post as promised to enlighten you with my advice (oh well). So in the previous post as an example on how to shop on an online shop I mentioned  ebay which is a quite popular site and maybe difficult to use to some people. So here comes the tricky part. How can I purchase goodies from online places and how do I pay? So the answer to that question is Paypal.

Paypal is like a bank but online. You create an account and "connect" your credit/debit card or bank account to that and you can make any transactions you want without paypal revealing your personal information such as your card number and it is the safest way of making transactions and shopping via Internet. When purchasing goodies online I use it and have not had any problems at all. I load my card with the money I need since it is not a credit card and shop. Usually sites that accept paypal as a payment method have a small picture similar to the one above. If an online website does not have this picture (usually on the bottom of the page) you can check out the ways of payment they accept.
I hope you found my advice usefull! Thanks for reading and happy online shopping!

Ways Of Payment & Shopping Online (Part 1)

Hi guys! This post is about people that are not familiar with online shopping and ways of payment on online shops, plus some aspects you should know about it and some others that I know from my experience. So as an example I will refer to Ebay. It is a huge online store that you can find pretty much anything and, if you make an extensive search, in lower prices. When you are searching for an item, make sure it has this sing beside it:
This sign shows us that the seller selling the item you have chosen or you see on the search page is high rated, and people that have shopped from him/her are satisfied with their items and rated him/her positevely. When you create your ebay account you can search for help on the website too for more information about the site and how to save sellers or items etc. As an advice, I would suggest that you always pick a seller that has 99.5 plus positive feedback since it is more certain and safe for your purchases. I hope you enjoyed this post!
A second part is going to follow this post about making safe transactions on online shops.

Ombre Nails

Hi guys! This is my first attempt to do the ombre nails style and I think I came out with a pretty good result here for starters! Anyway the pictures will speak on their own.

Colours used from left to right: Erre due 16 Fast Dry(something like that), Essie-Cocktail Bling, Barry M-Blue Moon

I used a sponge and made a tapping motion like when you're applying foundation. Dabbed on the ends of my nails the coral colour, then the blueish colour and in the end above the base of the nail the greyish colour to give some dimension. I hope you liked that post and I will make another one soon!

Candy Nails

Hi guys! Today I am posting about a nail design I saw on youtube(from an awesome girl called "StyleSuzi" on yt)  and really really really liked. I didn't use the exact same colours and the result wasn't as nice as the original in my opinion. :P
Here are the colours I used (they appear a little bit brighter in the photo than they are in person) :
From left to right: Barry M  Blue Moon, Peach Melba - Beauty Line Cosmetics 431 - Seventeen 281, 90, 33 - Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat

And here is the design on my nails:
Hope you enjoyed my take on this nail design!

Haul: Topshop Barry M and more!

Hello guys! I got my order from Toshop and Barry M and I thought I would do a collective haul showing you couple more things I bought the last 2 months.

Here are the clothing items I bought from Topshop, which I believe were all discounted. This order cost me 76 pounds(about 92 Euros), If you're wondering..

These are some some things from Barry M, Clinique and Avon. I bought Clinique High Impact Curling mascara (which I really love at the moment), the Avon Planet Spa Thailand lotus flower relaxing bath and massage oil and the Supershock mascara. From Barry M I got 4 nail polishes, from which the 2 I forgot to include in the photo, the light blue colour is called "Blue Moon" and the peachy one(which appears far more orange in the photo but in person it has more pink undertones to it) is called "Peach Melba", the other 2 colours I bought are "Navy" , a dark navy blue colour and "Indigo" , a dark purple with blue undertones. Haven't tried the last two colours yet but the first two will be featured in the next blog post.
Hope you enjoyed

Nails Of The Day : Essie Lady Like

Hey guys! Long time no see! Today I am going to show you a really pretty nail polish I bought couple of days ago since I think it's really pretty. (Not the best quality picture buut anyway...)

So as you can probably tell from the title this is Essie's "Lady Like". It is a light purple nail polish with some light brown undertones in it. It reminds me of something vintage and really classy. It applies on the nails nicely and lasts quite a lot (Essie nail polishes seem to last the longest on me in comparison with OPI and China Glaze). Overall I think it's a great nail colour, it suits perfectly my skin tone and I will definetely be wearing it a lot!
